SpotClip-Box Lighting Protective Box French Standard

The HellermannTyton SpotClip-Box series of light covers has been developed to prevent any contact between insulation materials and recessed down lights and to make the assembly air-proof. The SpotClip-Box kit can be used in ceiling cavities with diameters up to 73mm, with a maximum height of 130mm. The light cover ensures that a safe distance is kept between the downlight, insulation foil and roof insulation, reducing the risk of overheating and heat build-up.
The SpotClip-II is suitable to use with both panelling and plasterboard and it works with fluorescent and LED lamps.Designed for passive houses applications RT 2012

The SpotClip-Box is supplied in a Kit containing:

1 Round Base with 80mm hole for spot
1 Basket that fits on the top of the round base thanks to a bayonet system. This basket includes an area to hold the connection from the power supply
1 Cover to close the connection area
1 Rubber grommet to create the sealing between the basket, the cover and the wires going in the connection area
2 HelaCon Lux for the power connection
1 Q30R Cable Tie to secure the wire connection Standards UL94-V2 Approvals RT 2012
